    Kreischer Miller continues to prosper and grow! With approximately 200 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add a Tax Processing Intern to our team. This is a great 1st experience for working in a business environment, as well as an introduction to working at a public accounting firm. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Tax Processing Interns provide excellent client service to the Tax Strategies team by assembling and photocopying individual and corporate tax returns, typing correspondence and mailing to clients and taxation authorities, and ensuring accurate document retention. Printing reports accurately and timely, while adhering to Kreischer Miller’s professional format. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble requested documents once received from client
    • Scan client documents into system and review scanned material for accuracy
    • Save client information into the respective electronic binders
    • Assist in the mailing of client returns
    • Special projects, as needed

    Qualifications

    Working towards BS or MS in Accounting, resumes without GPA will not be considered. Please include graduation date and the number of credits expected upon graduation.   Candidates must have 150 credits prior to starting with the firm.   A transcript is also requested. If you have credits at more than one school, please obtain all school transcripts.

    • Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.  Must be willing to learn new software applications if necessary. 
    • Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to learn
    • Strong commitment to excellence, client service and professional growth
    • The ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues as well as offering potential solutions
    • Be a team player and motivated to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to prioritize workload, and communicate with all professionals on work expectations and processes.
    • Provide administrative support to other departments in the Firm if needed.
