About The Team

Kreischer Miller continues to prosper and grow! With approximately 280 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add a Research & Development Intern to our outstanding team. 

 

Our Research & Development Intern will support internal process improvement and reporting initiatives within our public accounting firm. This role is ideal for a business school student with a strong interest in technology and data analytics applied in a professional services environment.

 

A Research & Development Intern may perform the following duties:

  • Help build and update internal Power BI reports 
  • Support creation of Power Automate flows and Power Apps forms (help workflows like the A&A Financial Statement Process or the New Client Acceptance Process)
  • Clean and organize data for analysis and reporting (for new software implementation)
  • Document internal processes and workflows (for new software implementation)

Competencies required for a Research & Development Intern:

  • Strong Excel Skills 
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools (like Tableau)
  • Interest in learning Power Apps or Power Automate (or existing experience)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Comfortable learning new tools and working on a variety of tasks 

Education Requirements:

  • Working towards BS or MS in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; an interest or background in public accounting is a plus, though not required
